EVS Shift Manager (Overnight)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supervises the scheduling, training, and evaluation of all Environmental Services personnel.
• Develop and maintain cleaning programs for designated groups to ensure a clean and attractive public environment.
• Assists in establishing standards and procedures for ensuring a clean and attractive facility.
• Recommends, documents, and issues disciplinary notifications to personnel.
• Monitors and assists in proper timekeeping methods.
• Requisition supplies and equipment within established budgetary guidelines.
• Participates in professional organizations that promote the development of the company.
• Experienced with OSHA guidelines, including Right-To-Know Act, and Blood-Borne Pathogens.
• Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.
• Promotes outstanding customer relations.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Three (3) to Five (5) years experience in professional office management cleaning environment and/ or cleaning of large public areas facilities.
• Must be able to successfully complete and maintain the background check and licensing process, required by the Delaware Lottery during employment.
• Basic computer skills, and strong organizational and leadership abilities required.
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk, and kneel for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs. without difficulty.
• Ability to read, write, speak, understand, or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.
• Ability to consistently comprehend, retain, and/or execute written, verbal, and/or demonstrated directions, explanations, and guidance
• Must be able to work flexible schedules due to the needs of the business, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
